Watch Underworld (2003), Evolution (2006), Rise of the Lycans (2009), Awakening (2012) and Blood Wars (2016) as they came, and every reveal lands as designed. The animated Endless War (2011) is three short chapters set in 1890, 1967 and 2012; it is direct-to-video connective tissue, optional, and best slotted just before Awakening, whose human purge it feeds into.
The chronological rewatch starts with Rise of the Lycans, centuries before the rest, and it is a genuinely good second lap: the Viktor, Lucian and Sonja tragedy plays as opera when you know where it all leads.
