Twelve seasons and 254 episodes in total: Buffy the Vampire Slayer ran 7 seasons and 144 episodes (1997 to 2003) and Angel ran 5 seasons and 110 episodes (1999 to 2004). Streaming services list them as two separate shows with no interleaved playlist, which is exactly why the junction map matters: Angel seasons 1 to 4 run parallel to Buffy seasons 4 to 7, and Angel season 5 plays alone after Buffy ends.
